If you’re looking for a great way to see what’s happening in the movie world, IMDb is the place to go. The Internet Movie Database is a website designed to provide the latest information about movies and other related topics.
The front page is packed with movie news, trivia and fun quizzes. The border is usually a promotion for one of the most anticipated films being released soon. It features trailers of recent films released and television show premieres and new episodes. There is a link for purchasing tickets to whichever movie you want to see in theaters.
Fun things like celebrity birthdays and movie trivia are featured beneath the news. On the side of the website is a another column of news, links to show times and box office numbers, trailers and updates on what’s coming up in film and television. Any user can look up any movie they want and the movie’s page will display the film, cast, crew, music, trivia, forums, a photo gallery and other details.
IMDb also has pages on Facebook and Twitter and is available in mobile format. According to their Facebook page, IMDb has approximately 4.6 million “likes.”
