The KU English Department has announced English Scholarship and Award opportunities for students, with a submission deadline of Feb. 27. Submissions should be sent to Dr. Pytleski at ptleski@kutztown.edu or delivered to her office in Old Main 428.
These scholarships and awards recognize literary works in poetry, newswriting, essays and creative writing pieces. Faculty chosen scholarships and awards require no submission.
Students are encouraged to read over descriptions to ensure their major, academic level and writing matches what the scholarship/award requires. Submissions should not include any identifying information. Personal details should appear only on the cover page of the submission.
The English Scholarship and Honors ceremony will take place on April 20, at 5 p.m. in MSU 250.
