Spotlite, a media production club focused on creating student-led short films and advertisements, holds weekly meetings Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Rickenbach Learning Center TV Studio (LC 4). The organization regularly produces short films and series and hosts workshops related to the cinema, television and media industry.

“An event like the 25-Hour Film Festival challenges your creativity and ingenuity, which is why I am so excited for it,” Spotlite President Christa Lowthert said. “I can’t wait to see what everyone is able to create.”

Students interested in participating must complete the information form available on Spotlite’s Instagram page and attend a required meeting March 4 at 6 p.m. in LC 4. During the meeting, organizers will announce final filming groups, review equipment and spend time developing scripts.

A public screening of the completed films will be held March 11 and is open to all students and faculty. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the screening will begin at 6:30 p.m.
