KU is hosting their semesterly internship and job fair this upcoming Wednesday, March 11, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in MSU 218. Employers nationwide will come to recruit and open a career pathway for students. Free headshots being offered at the event as well.
The involvement fair is an event for students to attend in order to network, apply for jobs and gain experience interviewing by connecting with a variety of employers. Students can also learn about available internships and job openings and explore potential career paths.
Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and come prepared to speak with recruiters from different organizations who are looking to hire KU students for internships, part-time roles, and full-time positions. If KU students don’t have access to professional clothing, they can visit the KU Career Closet.
Most job and internship opportunities are primarily focused on business-related fields, though there are also positions outside of the business sector such as behavioral health associates, positions with the Berks County Intermediate Unit and opportunities at Brentwood Industries.
Internships provide valuable opportunities for students who are still in school to gain work experience, helping them build their resumes and develop skills that will support their future careers.
