Now accepting submissions

By Astra Zerbe

KU’s Student Government Board for the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) is hosting a student film festival on Nov. 19. The event will highlight productions made by students by showcasing their work to both peers and faculty.

The festival is accepting all genres and media, including short films, documentaries, sketches and more, as long as submission guidelines are met. Projects must be no longer than eight minutes, feature clear audio and video quality, and be submitted via a YouTube or Vimeo link.

KUSGB hosts these festivals once or twice each academic semester. The events draw large crowds, particularly from students in VPA who attend to support their peers and find inspiration for their own projects. The event will take place in Rickenbach 135 starting at 7 pm.
