From Sept. 27 to Sept. 28, Renninger’s held its 2024 Antique Extravaganza in Kutztown, PA. The show started from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday with an admission of $10, then from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission. On Saturday the show was held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no admission fee required. Hundreds of vendors came and set up to sell antique jewelry, furniture, paintings, toys and more.

The vendors set up booths under the outdoor pavilions beside the Renninger’s building. Vendors paid between $10 to $210 to register their spots for both days. The indoor antique market was open from 8 a.m. on both days to browse and shop.

Vendors came from PA and neighboring states to showcase and sell their artifacts. When strolling through the pavilions, shoppers admired vintage baseball cards, TV advertisements, postcards, paintings and biblical hymns. Artifacts such as jewelry, carvings and furniture were in abundance.

Pete & Fran Einstein Native American Jewelry, a vendor from Carlisle, PA, showcased their vintage and modern Native American jewelry and ironwood carvings. Pete Einstein, the company owner, is a 2nd generation Indian jewelry trader. He and his wife Fran showcased unique and one-of-a-kind artifacts from Southwestern Native American tribes.

“We like Renninger’s because it is not far away, under a pavilion, and brings back yearly customers,” Einstein said.

Jennette and Edward Savictorato showcased their vendor space from the Zionsville Antique Mall. Their booth exhibited a vintage feel, displaying photographs, books and posters from the 1960s. Jennette expressed her interest in all things old.

“My vendor has a cohesive look, you can decorate with my items to make your home unique,” Jennette Savictorato said.

In addition to antiques, vendors brought homemade entities to sell during the show. One woman from New Jersey featured her handcrafted pottery, expressing that her husband painted the distinctive features. There were also vendors selling recent hand-painted artwork by local artists.

The 2024 Renninger’s Antique Extravaganza succeeded in bringing the community together to admire the charm of antiques and vintage goods.

Upcoming Extravaganzas at Renningers in Kutztown, PA will occur on the last full Friday and Saturday of April, June, and next Sept.
