Clubs across campus for students to join

KU hosted its semesterly Involvement Fair on Thursday, Feb 5, in MSU 218. At the fair, KU clubs and organizations recruit non-members and promote their clubs, allowing students to get more involved on campus. Below is a list of clubs available for students to get involved in.

Kutztown University Voice Actors (KUVA)
KUVA is a club for students interested in voice acting and for those seeking opportunities in voice acting projects. According to the club’s president, “The goal is to provide the opportunity of voice acting as people can join and help one another.” KUVA holds its meetings every other week on Thursdays at 11 a.m. in Sharadin 120.

History Club
KU’s History Club is a space for students who share an interest in exploring history through discussions and presentations. The club covers a wide range of historical topics and prioritizes presentation opportunities and hands-on learning, including one to two trips each semester. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Lytle 109.

Alpha Beta Alpha
Alpha Beta Alpha is a co-ed library science fraternity for students who enjoy books, learning and intellectual engagement. The fraternity hosts book sales and a variety of book-centered events, such as book giveaways. They provide a welcoming environment for those looking to connect over literature and shared academic interests. Meetings occur every Thursday at 11 a.m in room 23 of Rohrbach Library.

Punk4Passion
Punk4Passion is a community service club that advocates for punk subculture, creativity and social awareness. Rooted in punk traditions, the club brings people together to spread positivity through events, DIY projects, culture and music while focusing on a community that expresses individuality and passion. Meetings take place every Friday from 3 p.m. at Boxwood House.

Outdoors Club
The Outdoors Club is a space for students who love adventure, nature and exploring new places. The club organizes mini-trips and hikes across eastern Pa, visiting woods, lakes, rivers, and more. Most trips take place on Sundays, allowing members a chance to slow down and connect with nature. Meetings are held in Boehm 261 at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays. 

Gamers of Kutztown University (GOKU)
GOKU is a welcoming club for students who enjoy video games of all kinds, hosting weekly gaming events that include  PC, console, mobile and board games. The club provides a safe, friendly space to meet others who share a passion for gaming. Events are held every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in MSU 218.

Plant Club
The Plant Club is perfect for students who love nature and hands-on activities. Members help care for the on-campus greenhouse by watering plants, changing soil and learning different aspects of gardening. The club also allows members to take home plants for free. Meetings take place every Thursday at 11 a.m. in the greenhouse.

Anime Club
The Anime Club is a creative space for students who enjoy anime and Japanese pop culture. Members share and present anime series the audience may be unfamiliar with, while the club also hosts viewings, themed trivia, games and manga giveaways. Meetings are held every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Boehm 145.

Omega Xi, The Valley Bruhz
Founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., the fraternity is the first African American fraternity established at a historically Black college or university. Chartered March 10, 1978, it remains deeply rooted in its culture and is committed to serving the greater Lehigh Valley community.
