Public events available to students
By Ryan Tirpak
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and KU’s It’s On Us (IOU) chapter will host its “Spring Week of Action” from April 3 to April 9 to educate the campus community and support survivors of sexual assault.
According to Engage, IOU will be providing resources to students as well as hosting a pledge drive and giveaways. A passport for Sexual Assault Awareness Month giveaways will also be available to pick up.
By taking the pledge, students are committed to recognizing harmful norms, intervening in situations, joining in the conversation in preventing sexual violence and creating an environment in which survivors are supported. Below are upcoming events hosted by IOU.
