For those who love to shop, swap, and sell, on October 12, the Zeta Tau Alpha Women’s Sorority will be holding its first community yard sale in the parking lot outside of Beekey Education Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Anyone can set up tables and sell their gently used clothing, accessories and other items in the lot.  There are no limits or requirements for what you can bring.
The yard sale is open to all KU students, their clubs and organizations and the entire Kutztown community.

“We want to get everyone involved,” said ZTA Director of Philanthropy Malorie Finley.  “We want the people of Kutztown to get a better picture of [Greek life] here.”

For just $10, the participating organization gets two parking spaces to set up shop.  Organizations keep the profits earned from the sale. Proceeds from this event will go to the ZTA Foundation to support breast cancer education and awareness, the Komen Race for the Cure Survivor Recognition Program, scholarships, educational programming and leadership development.

The sisters may be planning to add a bake sale to the event as well, but it is still a work in progress.

To reserve parking spaces to participate in the sale, send your name and payment of $10 for two spaces to: Kutztown University ZTA, MSU, P.O. Box 730 Kutztown, PA 19530.
