Going into this weekend’s matchups, the KU Golden Bears prepare to further dominate competitors.
Men’s football has been an overpowering force at the start of this season. The team is now 3-0 following a 35-20 road victory against Lock Haven on Sept. 19. KU started strong with touchdowns in each of the first two possessions. They will be back home to face off against Shepherd on Sept. 26, at noon for their PSAC East opener.
Women’s field hockey continued their winning streak on Sept. 23 against Millersville, staying undefeated thus far at 8-0. They scored six unreciprocated goals before Millersville scored twice in the final few minutes. The No. 1 ranked Golden Bears will host nonconference opponent, American International College, at Andre Reed Stadium on Sept. 26, at 5 p.m.

Women’s volleyball played their first matchup ever against Lackawanna on Sept. 22, winning in four sets and bringing their record to 13-2 for the season. This comes after the Golden Bears finished the Elizabeth City State Tournament undefeated in North Carolina on Sept. 5. The team will be on the road Friday, playing Millersville and, again on Saturday Sept. 26, playing St. Thomas Aquinas in Sparkill, N.Y.
Women’s Soccer, ranked 22, went up against West Chester, ranked 4, on Sept. 23. The Golden Bears gave West Chester their first loss on the season while extending their own record to 7-1 (5-1 PSAC East). This was their first win over the Golden Rams since 2024. For their next game, they will be home facing Millersville at 7 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Both the Men’s and Women’s swimming teams faced off against Shippensburg this past Wednesday, Sept. 23. Women’s swimming had numerous PSAC qualifying standards in their 151-111 conference win. Men’s Swimming also had one recorded PSAC qualifying time in the 50 Free by Matheson Bair, but fell to the Raiders 146.5-113.5. Both teams will face Montclair State on Oct. 24 at East Stroudsburg University, where the women’s team will also face East Stroudsburg.
