After a difficult first half, the Bears worked hard in the second to make the game 1-0 with a goal scored by junior defender Skyler Jordan (#13). Jordan got the assist from sophomore midfielder Maura Day (#19), after a battle in the box where the ball found its way to the left side of the frame.

The Lady Bears held up their defense to end with a final score of 1-0, advancing to the PSAC Semi-Finals.

Jordan reflected on their season and the challenges this team has overcome to get where they are. “There were moments earlier on in the season where we failed to capitalize on opportunities that ultimately forced us into tougher positions, but heading into the postseason, we regrouped and refocused, emphasizing the importance of executing the details, knowing our roles, and playing with passion,” Jordan said. “All the adversity that we faced in the regular season is what is now driving us to grow and elevate as a team, and we hope that we can use this momentum to find success in the postseason.”

The Bears next game is against Gannon University, scheduled for McConnell Family Stadium on Nov. 15.
