Highlighting student achievements
By Astra Zerbe
With the inauguration of Dr. Philip Cavalier on April 10, KU will begin the celebration a day early, on April 9, with a showcase of student creativity and achievement. The event will feature work displayed across North Campus, highlighting submissions from each of the four colleges and their respective majors.
No registration is required, and the event is open to the public, including students, KU staff and Kutztown residents. Light refreshments and music will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to spend the evening exploring North Campus buildings to view the diverse showcase.
Highlights will include creative works such as art, film and writing, as well as research presentations, music performances and other academic projects. The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. in the MSU, Sharadin Art Building, Boehm Science Center, Grim Science Building and the Wells-Rapp Center.
The event will provide an opportunity for students to see what their peers are creating and to showcase their own work.
