The Office of Student Involvement will host KU’s annual butterfly garden event on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place on the lawn outside the McFarland Student Union (MSU).
Students will have the opportunity to feed nectar to Painted Lady butterflies within a mesh enclosure. At the conclusion of the event, the butterflies will be gently released into the surrounding environment.
