KU will host country musician Chris Moreno on Monday, April 15 at 7 p.m. on the MSU Lawn.
Refreshments, dessert and a soft pretzel bar will be available for attendees.
Moreno’s music is primarily country, though it features elements of pop and alternative rock. He has accumulated over 2 million streams on Spotify with around 100 thousand monthly listeners. He has opened for national performances by Parmalee and Walker Hayes and has performed over 500 shows.
His latest single, “Chasing Sunsets,” was released on March 15, 2024.
Moreno is based in Nashville, though a large portion of his fan base belongs to Boston. The Boston Music Awards has nominated him for Best Country Artist four years in a row.
