KU’s Library and Learning Technologies Department will host Teen Library Day on March 22, 2024 from 9:30 – 12:00 p.m. in the Schaeffer Auditorium.

The event’s featured speaker is A.S. King, a local award-winning author.
Among King’s accolades are two Michael L. Printz Awards, an award given annually to the best book written for teens. She is the first author to win the Printz Award twice, for her novel Dig and her anthology The Collectors.
King’s first novel, The Dust of 100 Dogs, debuted in 2009. In the past 15 years, she has published a total of 14 novels. She plans to release a new young adult novel, Pick the Lock, in fall of 2024.
The event is open to local teens, educators, and the general public.
