Judd Novak fires four scores
By Conor Doherty
Kutztown, PA – Redshirt freshman QB Judd Novak (Manheim, PA/Manheim Central) led the Golden Bears to a 34-27 victory on Saturday by throwing four touchdowns to three different receivers. Kurtis Ravenel Jr. (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle), Jordan Davis (Franklin, NJ/Saint Joseph Metuchen), and Kaden Hastie (Tabernacle, NJ/Seneca) all caught passes from Novak that resulted in scores.
KU’s deep threats ran wild all day with Hastie pulling in a 55-yard touchdown reception and Gibson securing a 68-yard bomb from Novak.
On the defensive side of the ball, Jalen Devose (Lansdale, PA/La Salle College High School) registered his first sack of the season on a key third down. The following ESU drive stalled with Tyler Whary (Hereford, PA/Upper Perkiomen) bringing down the QB on third down, forcing another punt.
KU’s 397 yards of total offense was the result of an all out attack through the air. Novak finished the game with 285 yards passing, four scores, and two interceptions.
Jordan Davis carried the ball 14 times while totaling 47 yards on the ground for KU.
KU travels to Bloomsburg on Saturday to take on the Huskies at 2pm. The game can be streamed online here.
