KU Men’s Rugby loses 26-22 against Navy

KU Men’s Rugby, ranked 7th, lost 26-22 against Navy, ranked 5th, on Sept. 23. 

KU held a 22-19 lead late in the game. Navy made a try before the clock ran out, gaining the win over the Golden Bears. 

D’Montae Noble, KU senior, scored a try. KU sophomores, Tai Kauwe, Trent Rogers and Thorne O’Connell all had tries, too. O’Connell had two conversions and one penalty kick. 

The Golden Bears are 3-1, overall, with wins against Army, Mary Washington and Schuylkill River Club.
