Annual event to feature candy, costumes and a contest

On Oct. 21, the Optimist Club of Kutztown will host its annual Trick-or-Treat on Main Street from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will take place between Constitution Blvd. and College Blvd., with a rain date of Oct. 22.
A costume contest will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the corner of White Oak and Main Street.
During the event, families and friends can dress in costumes ranging from funny to spooky while collecting candy from sponsors, shops and KU clubs lining the street. This year’s sponsors include Rita’s, Fleetwood Bank, East Penn Manufacturing and more.
