The food drive accepts donations for Friend, Inc.

The KU Residence Hall Association (RHA) and the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) will be accepting donations in support of Friend, Inc’s Holiday Box event.
All ResLife organizations are to receive a list of food items that they are to collect and compile. Organizations are being asked to complete as many boxes as possible.
The food item guidelines for the boxes include one can of sweet potatoes, one can of potatoes or mashed potatoes, one can of fruit cocktail, one can of cranberry sauce, two cans of different vegetables, stuffing mix (can be in a box or bag), a container of fruit juice, applesauce, cookies, coffee or hot cocoa, and holiday napkins.
Organizations can decorate their boxes however they like. They may also write the name of their organization on the box. All boxes must be turned in to Friend, Inc’s central office by Nov. 20.
Friend, Inc also separately accepts donations of cash or GIANT gift cards. Proceeds go towards purchasing turkeys for distribution to clients. These will be included in the boxes when they are given out.
