KU grad Laura Conaway will return to campus on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. to discuss writing and publishing with Shoofly Literary Magazine. The event will be held in MSU 250 (The Presidents’ Room).
Conaway is the author of novels Silencing the Witness and Expired Vows. She graduated from KU in 2020 with a B.A. in library science and a minor in professional writing.
Students can expect a 15-20 minute reading from Conaway’s latest novel, Expired Vows. This will be followed by a presentation about the writing process and how she found her publishers. The event will conclude with a giveaway and Q&A session. Conaway will also have copies of her novels available for purchase at the event.
An open mic night will follow Conaway’s presentation.
